The Crop Processing Development Centre (CPDC) was built in 1999 at the Humboldt location to give processing companies a critical advantage in providing a secure, fully equipped, working-plant environment for carrying out applied research on experimental work, or to produce product runs for market-test purposes.

PAMI’s CPDC is a large, flexible and versatile facility providing clients with the essential space to setup and test individual pieces of equipment, custom products, pilot-scale processes, or full-scale developed processes without disrupting actual production facilities. As a result, research and development can advance without impacting current production. After verifying the equipment, product and process within our Crop Processing Development Centre, our clients can confidently integrate new processes into their existing workflow.

The Crop Processing Development Centre Specifications:

• Heated Facility: 70′ x 115′ and 8,052 square feet
• Adjacent to large environmental chamber for extreme-temperature processing
• Adjacent to fabrication shop, allowing for efficient process modifications
• 600V and 208V three-phase electrical service
• 60hp, 250 psi boiler for process steam generation
• Dust Control System
• Interior Liner and Drainage Trench for Efficient Cleanup
• Access to various storage bins, material handling and processing equipment such as a pellet mill, hammermill, belt dryer, dehuller, mixer, essential oil extractor, storage bins, hoppers and conveyor
